The Center of Complex Testing for Foreign Citizens carries out the activity on the basis of the Contract from 15.06.2015 No. 01-24-01/28.05.15-147 "Rendering services in carrying out the complex examination in Russian as the foreign language, the History of Russia and the Institutes of the Laws of the Russian Federation " negotiated between the Federal State Budgetary Educational Institution of Higher Education "The Pushkin State Russian Language Institute " and the Federal State Budgetary Educational Institution of higher education "Bratsk State University"

Complex examination is carried out for the following categories of foreign citizens:

- migrant workers;

- applicants for permission on temporary residence;

- applicants for residence permit.

The Legislative Foundations for Carrying out the Complex Examination

According to the Federal statute No. 74 of 20.04.2014. "On a legal status of foreign citizens in the Russian Federation" and the order of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation No. 1156 of 28.08.2014. "On defining the content, the order of carrying out the examination in Russian, the History of Russia and the Institutes of the Laws of the Russian Federation and the requirements to a minimum level of the knowledge necessary for passing the specified examination", since January 1, 2015 foreign citizens, have to confirm the knowledge of above-mentioned objects with the corresponding certificate.

Since September 7, 2015 the Center of Complex Testing for foreign citizens of the Federal State Budgetary Educational Institution of Higher Education "BrSU" carries out the registration and receiving applications from foreign citizens who need to pass complex examination in Russian as the Foreign Language, the History of Russia and the Institutes of the Laws of the Russian Federation.

The State Certificate of the Russian Federation is issued to the applicants who have successfully passed the examination

The Complex Examination for foreign citizens in Russian as the Foreign Language, the History of Russian and the Institutes of the Laws of the Russian Federation is held every week by appointment and in the process of completing of groups:

THE ORDER OF CARRYING OUT COMPLEX EXAMINATION

Before the testing the examiner is to tell you the instruction for the test, the time for the test performing and the rules of filling in the inspection sheet which you receive together with the examination questions before the start of the exam. The inspection sheets (matrixes) are filled in with the pen.

You can ask all the specifying questions about the examination procedure only before the examination.

During the examination it is not allowed to use dictionaries and reference materials, and also to talk to other candidates.

The Complex examination consists of 3 modules:

The Bases of the Legislation of the Russian Federation

The History of Russia

The Russian Language

Total time of carrying out the Complex Examination:

- 90 minutes (1 hour 30 minutes) for applicants for the work permit or patent, including:

The Russian module - 60 min.

The History of Russia module - 15 min.

The Bases of the Legislation of the Russian Federation module - 15 min.

- 135 minutes (2 hours 15 minutes) for applicants for permission on temporary residence or residence permit, including:

The Russian module - 75 min.

The History of Russia module - 30 min.

The Bases of the Legislation of the Russian Federation module - 30 min.

The Russian module

The test contains 5 components (subtests): Vocabulary, Grammar; Reading; Listening; Writing; Speaking.

The History of Russia module and the Institutes of the Laws of the Russian Federation module contain  1 component (subtest) – consisting of 10 questions for applicants for the work permit or patent and 20 questions for applicants for permission on temporary residence or residence permit.

The results of the examination are known in 1-2 days after the examination.

The list of candidates who successfully passed the examination is available at the information stand near audience 2402, (building 2, floor 4, BrSU).

The results of the examination are sent to the head Center of Testing of the Federal State Budgetary Educational Institution of Higher Education After checking the certificate will be issued and sent to Bratsk.

Ready certificates will be issued to the persons who have passed the complex examination in 10-15 days after the publication of the results of the examination at the information stand.

One should present the passport to get the certificate.

The issue of the certificate is held in audience 2404, (BrSU, building 2, floor4).

THE CRITERIA OF THE RESULTS ESTIMATION OF THE EXAMINATION IN RUSSIAN, THE HISTORY OF RUSSIA AND THE INSTITUTES OF THE LAWS OF THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION

The module consists of 5 components (subtests): Vocabulary and Grammar, Reading, Listening, Writing, Speaking. The whole test is estimated at 300 scores.

THE ORDER OF RESIT OF THE EXAMINATION

For all categories of foreign citizens the uniform rules of the resit of the examination are established:

The right to the resit of the examination on the terms of partial payment is granted if 1 subtest on Russian and/or one of modules -the History of Russia or for permission on temporary residence are not passed.
